Lot of good pics here - thanks guys....very nicely done! SmileWavy
Was at a church property late today checking some trees I had recently planted and an old buddy pulls up in his '64 Stingray. That's a dark blue metallic color and it's got the 327 in it. He had his chick with him and while they were across the street yaking with some lady, I took a few pics. BTW, this guy and I were roommates for one year at UF back in '74-'75. Love running into old friends from back in the day..... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1494118552.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1494118552.JPG |
We had a little front move through yesterday and it was nice and cool out this morning with low humidity too - so I spent most of the day trying to catch up on as much gardening tasks as possible. Including cleaning up these Purple Crinum Lillies. These originally were stock plants at one of the nurseries I do business with and one day the owner contacted me and said he was going to eliminate these from his assortment....asked if I was interested in buying them for a very reasonable price. So I did and set them on top of the ground and they just took root and have been here ever since, absent a few I used at projects.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1494119683.JPG I like to use a long serrated blade knife for slicing off the wide succulent leaves... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1494119683.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1494119683.JPG These are some of the fruit that I found in the leaf axles that were already germinating and sending out shoots and roots.....little babies....:p http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1494119683.JPG |
I just noticed I did that too Joe Bob, not sure what I was doing that day...

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...db767d667e.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...501698247b.jpg Hoping the new magnetic filter will help trap any metal particulates and prevent the 95 k1500 from eating POS remaned power steering pumps from our FLAPS. 15 month lifespan is too damn short, especially after flushing the system with several quarts of PS fluid which creates one hell of a mess too boot. Inspected seven different pumps at five different FLAPS before finding an acceptable one. Between folded return tubes, missing parts and damaged reservoirs, it was maddening. My personal favorite was the spirited disagreement I had with the Napa in Pollock Pines when they said it was a new unit when it had been clearly installed then returned. I like their explanation of the lifetime warranty too........not! Not a very difficult job but still a PITA if your willing to get your hands dirty. You can warranty a turd if you want. What give with refurbished crap nowadays? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
