Some very nice pics, fellas!

Grouper for dinner tomorrow!

Also....still working on my back patio canopy - this morning I added some green shade cloth, which as the pic shows, will help with the late afternoon sun.....

My bamboo is also coming along nicely......will help with privacy when and if someone builds behind me.

Back in the early 1980's I had my 1966 Mustang painted.

No matter what I could not keep other cars away from it.

I'd park at the end of a parking lot in the rain and someone would still park right next to me.

It drove me crazy.

In PG! Are you crazy? No one can afford to buy a house in PG!

But you can afford a house in Watsonville.

In my youth we would pile into a car and hang out on the coast, you could sleep on the beach or in the picnic areas if we got there after the ranger went home and left before they showed up... nowadays, not so much... that was a long time ago and my memories are pretty fuzzy but it seems we drove that road on the coast in PG before they started charging fees.

I have pictures from those days but all 35mm.

A 'Mammy' Croton......the most versatile variety in the landscape market. The "soldier" if you will. Can even take freezes and although you will have total leaf drop - they will survive.

RLMFAO!! You ain’t kidding brother. On a nighttime stroll, looked into a real estate office window listing. A shanty shack, will run you 900K, houses are being listed at 1.1-2.7 million..... it’s stupid money.

It would have been so much easier if the ol G-Pa had bought a couple of parcels back in his day.....

We will just visit occasionally, dive along the aquarium and use our annual passes to the Monterey Aquarium.

While enjoying a nice steamy bowl of clam chowder, I look up to see a “mom” with what looked like a three year old also eating lunch. She is seated in the middle of the dinning area, surrounded by families, kids, etc. out comes the boobie, then sticks it in the mouth of her kid. No towel to cover herself or modesty. Shirt all stretched out due to it supporting her boob. All the time she didn’t miss a beat with her salad. Then tried to give the kid a spoon full of her side soup too. I know this is a hot topic but have a little decency and maybe sit off to the side. I nor my wife care to look at a boob while having lunch. and yes, my wife also breastfed her son(my step-son), but she was always covered up while doing so.

The human animal always makes me laugh.

Sounds like some fantastic memories. In the last handful of years, I just recently discovered family that lives in Salinas. A great uncle was the fire chief back in the day and is fairly well known to this day by the older crowd.

I grew up in the Salinas Valley, still have family/property there. Used to drive over on the weekends for the beach, mainly Carmel. I'm actually headed to Monterey on Tuesday on vacation to take in the Aquarium (we're members too) and Fishermen's wharf.

Now our beach time is Morro Bay to San Simeon.

Cool beans!!

We have always enjoyed this part of the coast. I like to dive Point Lobos on occasion but the reserved spots for diving fill up quick and far in advance. Had my best Harbor Seal experience there. We really enjoy the MB Aquarium especially during the week when crowds are smaller. I’m working on becoming a volunteer diver but the list is long.

Picked our spots for the 4:00PM(1600) afternoon feeding.
