Nice Woody Woodpecker pic! I actually have a woodpecker call device (not sure what the official name of the gizmo is) but pretty cool to have and use occasionally when the mood strikes.... :)

I was just outside in the front yard looking up at all the stars. What a beautiful night! Then an Osprey lands on top of this super tall dead palm tree trunk I have. Freaking me out a little thinking about my 2 outside kitty kats. They are mature though so probably too big to get carried off.
Here's a very fuzzy pic of the Osprey taken with my cheap point and shoot - you can see his white chest..... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1513656832.JPG |
I have a hawk I feed that sits on top of my power pole. I wish it'd carry off at least some of the gophers around here, but noooo it just waits for me to bring out the food.

Just make sure you have a spare on hand and Bob's your uncle! FWIW...I've found that keeping them lubricated helps them to work smoother and thus helps them 'stay put' better. :) |
Don't need whitewalls up here.
