The 2019 Audi A6 S Line.... it gets released later this year. Pretty amazing car! Didn't go for a drive, but the car felt very nice and was very comfortable. I'd take it over the E Class. 540i takes the cake when it comes to power, but I think this is a nice balance.
Most of the vehicle controls can be on the touch screen, and the climate buttons you cap tap to lower/raise the temp, or slide up and down. Kind of a nifty feature I think! The 360 degree camera will come in handy, and has the upper hand (I think) because you're able to scroll around and look at things a bit better. I don't rely on this tech at all, but it might be a nice feature for some people to have. The accent lighting and real wood trim pieces are a nice touch too. It has 21" wheels which are massive, but it doesn't look all that big on the car. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547252787.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547252787.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547252787.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547252787.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547253012.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547252787.jpg |
Thanks for the pics and info, Eric. These new cars have so many bells and whistles nowadays like you - I probably wouldn't even use most of them. But agree, for some folks, they would be nice to have.
I've never owned an Audi but have always admired them. Would like to own one one day - on my bucket list for sure! ===== Check out the discoloration of this lawn at one of my accounts from the genius who did the tile job on the front porch and patio washing out his stuff on the grass..... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547256170.JPG |

Went flying in FSX. The English countryside looks surreal from the air. Believe it or not both sides of the pic are sat photos of the same place. Everything lines up correctly under close inspection. They must have been taken during different seasons w/flowering crops and upturned soil, contrast settings turned up to 11, plus some heavy duty color saturation filter used in processing or something.

While I was walking to the gym today, this amazing raptor landed....
And tucked into a lunch of pigeon it appears... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547505108.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547505108.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547505108.jpg When I left the Gym the Falcon was gone, all that remained of the pigeon was bunch of feather blowing around, and a cleaned carcass... This was in Levittown, NY... in the middle of one of the most densely populated suburbs in the US..Pretty amazing... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547505316.jpg |

^^^ Awwww.....so cute!
Today I installed grab bars in my Mom's shower stall. According to what I found on the Internet, the standard setup is 3 bars. I bought everything from the local Home Depot....and only had to go back 2 times...ha ha. I also converted her fixed shower head to a portable one. And I put the seat in earlier this week. The installation wasn't too bad. I used a tile drill bit to get through the tile, a mason bit to go into the drywall, and some heavy load drywall anchor/screws for fasteners. I pulled on each bar as hard as I could and nothing budged so it should be fine for my Mom. The vertical "transfer" bar also has an adjustable bracket on it to hold the shower head. And the other 2 bars are 'peened' to help with grip. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547590171.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547590171.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1547590171.JPG She turns 96 next month. Her renewed driver's license came in today's mail. Her hair looks bad because she's been stuck at home with a sore back after a fall at the end of November and hasn't been able to get to her hairdresser. But not bad for almost 96, huh? |
