Sunrise this morning.

Dang telephone lines.

The color was the purest pink I've ever seen in the sky, not a mauve.

Original Volkswagen SP2 here in the USA! - $18950
Very Rare VW factory original SP2 sports car!

I’m very proud I can offer this car inside the USA, Yes! This car is located in Atherton California.

Sp2’s are only limited made by VW do Brazil in the early seventies… they are all steel cars! Do not compare with cheap Puma’s or kit cars, this is Factory original, in pressed steel….

Its an extremely rare car outside of Brazil as it was hardly never exported. General Volkswagen management did not allow Brazil to export the SP2’s worldwide as they feared competition for their 914 project, still don’t understand how wrong they could be! A SP2 has almost perfect 70’s bodylines, influences from real Italian sports cars are not far away, and the design is a perfect match from beauty, streamline and functionality! They are real cars and still today they are a pure form of beauty!

Therefore finding nice examples is very hard (and expensive!) even in Brazil, and exporting a car out of Brazil is a very tough, expensive and time consuming task!

Pimp my Ferrari. Not a fan.

Is the hood unlatched in that pic?

kevin993 10-03-2006 07:41 AM

The hood definately appears to be unlatched. I like the full blackout look - it was definately a different look in the midst of a sea of red Ferraris.

Line up a coupe of BMW X3's and X5's around those F-car's and the whole Star Wars theme is complete. (Ref: don't the back ends of those BMW SUV's look like the face of the Stormtrooper masks?)

View from the British initial line looking toward the American first line (at about the group of trees in the middle of the photo) at the Battle of Cowpens (US Revolutionary War).

And the view from the American second line looking down the Broad River Road towards the first line (a little forward of the sign) and the British lines beyond (at the far tree line).

The name of the British comander was Banastre Tarleton. That name cracks me up :D

The great Poinsett Bridge over the Little Gap Creek on the old road from Greenville to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Built in 1820. Love that gothic arch!

LOL. Agreed. Although I always pictured Darth Vader driving an all-black Porsche 930. If any car looks a little like a TIE fighter, I guess it would have to be a 911.
