Sorry - I was looking at what was the dot matrix style printing on the "copper" end - looks like it reads "05" on every one and figured that meant 2005. That was where the expiration date was marked until they moved it to the black section with the other labeling.

Desolation peak and Hozomeen lurking in the background
Jack Kerouac spent a lovely summer on Desolation once, the younger crew climbed it this trip and several privious  View from the floating resort   Pop gear reclamation in progress   Brand new shishi huts going in at all the campsites, made by those fun loving Canadians! I was mighty impressed the lids are soft closing... wow
