Took my drone out for a walk and a fly today to an old Farm house I've visited a few times over the last few years and was surprised to see it burned to the ground.
A sad but not unexpected end to what was once someone's pride and joy. And no, I did not torch it!! My Son and I saw the threat of sunshine and took off hell bent for leather up to Craft Island where the mighty Skagit flows into the northern bit of Puget Sound.
The mighty Skagit is made of water that flowed through my beloved North Cascades, so ya know it's yummy. Thousands of geese are all over the farmer's fields nearby today instead of here. We saw a few Bald eagles, an Osprey and at least a couple hawks. A fine 3 hour adventure! |
