Interesting book. I know very little about the author but have seen his stuff at the Margaret Herrick Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Some mucky muck brought me in there to snoop around. Interesting place that's for sure

Yeah....Mr. Kingman is considered to be one of the best ever in watercolors.

What caught my eye was his truly magnificent work as the illustrator for the title sequences of the 1963 classic "55 Days At Peking"....

Happened to look out and see this bob cat walking across the front portico slab. It went into the back yard and made itself comfortable.
