Jim, those are Poplar trees and they are HUGE. Seen the one there that has the fence around it? Supposed to be the largest poplar on the East Coast. That forest is beautiful.....Good looking family also. You can skip the sudo-sexy pose next time...kinda creepy!

Some "helmet on" shots from my ride yesterday.

30,000 miles, only took 26 years. :D The blue building is a rural post office (overexposed the sign with this little camera).

What were your settings. I tried taking a photo of the moon and it came out bad.

Used one time, it worked to close the 4 inch gap from trailer to ground.

Still need to install the winch.

I found that if I let the camera expose, it comes out way over exposed. I have a center weighted that's a little better, but still over exposed, but the Rebel XT doesn't have a spot meter option at all.

Anyway...

the shot above.

This is another shot that turned out about the same.

Way different than I would have thought. You know Sunny 16 for sun lit objects with 100 ISO @ 1/125. The moon is a sunlit object or so the guys NASA tell me. I'm glad I waited till the digital age to waste 16 frames experimenting. I'll try it again using your settings. Thanks.
