Edmund Fitzgerald sank 50 years ago today.

The type that had to be brought in to the store to get the pics. Prob 5 years ago, I took a magnifying glass to it and still couldn't make out the name. ( other than the length of the white letters looked correct) But there was only one other sister ship that size on the great lakes, so I'll never know for absolute certainty. Early season solo backpacking adventure. I'm already anticipating a return visit in 26, I do crave mountain therapy, particularly in the North Cascades! Highway 20 is closed at least temporarily today due to snow storms. Usually closed by Thanksgiving until April or May.
