You are welcome!
Glad some seem to like em! Some individual time lapse photos from today. Sunny and gorgeous today, on up Hiway 530 past Darrington and up the still off and on snowy Suiattle river road. About 10 miles in the snow was deep enough for a belly rub... time to turn around. Tons of tree debris, most cleaned up or driven over enough to make a path. A couple chunks needed to be moved for safe passage. 3 other vehicles up there, all 4X4's. They looked at me a little funny http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673394382.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673394382.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673394382.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673394382.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673394382.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673394382.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673394382.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673394382.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673394382.JPG |
Headed up the Mark Clark bridge in Charleston, I saw these guys working off a crane, on a barge. That high up working next to powerlines would be a no go for me.

Just returned from a week on Hilton Head Island SC for New Year's. These are pics of the Moon at sunrise taken from Shelter Cove behind Kroger looking west over Broad Creek. Pics do not do it justice - it was stunning.

I'm getting better, but still a long way to go. I'm having a blast. I got a bow for Christmas when I was 13, I think. Unfortunately, I didn't get any sort of direction or assistance on how to shoot it, so I didn't enjoy it or pursue it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673534283.JPG |
Probably around the same time…over the Port Royal Sound…beautiful!

We adopted two feral kittens before Thanksgiving. There is a program here that is very well run.
They were small so no outside ops until Spring...they would have been lunch for the Raptors that hunt this area. Martha giving the birds stink eye. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673710540.jpg |

Got in some mountain based therapy with a buddy I've known and adventured with since high school- 47 years give or take.
40 degrees means clear wet roads. narrowing some after the pavement ends and potholes start popping. Baker lake is down 20' plus as usual for this time of year, making space for spring run off and atmospheric river flows. Mt Baker has almost all the rock cliff areas covered in fresh snow, right at 100" at the ski area, they get up to 500" of snow some years. It's always very quiet in winter, a perfect spot to go for a 1/2 mile walk and set up a little ultra light chair to watch the sun set, reminisce and drink in the ever changing lighting and fog wanderings. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673904853.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673904853.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673904853.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673904853.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673904853.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673904853.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673904853.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673904853.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1673904853.jpg |
