Yep, I I felt the same way and a couple of my musicians and friends keep telling me how great their brisket is, problem is, if I am out that far, it is only about 15 minutes, if I take the back way home, to Woodpeckers BBQ and that is some really good BBQ.

I know folks that say that if they pass one, they have to stop. I don't get it. I have been inside once. Nothing that I got there was so amazing that I feel the need to go back. I guess if the choice was a regular gas station with a bag of chips and a candy bar or Buc-EEs I might stop at Buc-EEs. But I'm certainly not going to go out of my way to stop at one and would have to be really hungry to go inside.

I've heard local folks rave about the fact that you can get ethanol-free gas there.

Hmm, 93octane with ethanol for $3/gal or 91octane ethanol free gas for $3.75 or $4 a gallon. Again, I don't see the point.

I'd take this sort of shooting all day long. 1.5" group except for the flyer. It would be relatively easy to move the group to the bullseye.

Unfortunately...

Not technically bad. I did just change from split finger to 3 under, and that's caused a hit on my accuracy/grouping. But in the long run, I think it'll be an improvement.

I stopped at the local convenience store to get some beer, and when I came out this great looking 67 SS396 was next to my El Camino. His 396 is long gone, and replaced with a 454 and with a mild cam, and fuel injection.

We chatted for 10 minutes.

Your Elky is cool with a lot of that being due to its/your history. His is far, far cooler.

The sandwich was good but about the only redeeming factor.
