Thanks for the explanation. I have always liked archery and even have an antiquated compound bow that I honestly have never used. I want to get into it but like everything else, I am finding a hard enough time to change my mind, let alone get into cool stuff like archery. If I pull the plug in December to retire from State Service(30.1 years) I will have more time[emoji848]

Maybe I can finally get to cutting and welding metal on our two 68 912’s.

Regardless, your placement of those first shots are insanely impressive. Looks like you were even using wood shafts and not carbon fiber. I’m sure like all things wood, that can also add a variant as well [emoji2371]

My hat is off to you for your accuracy [emoji481][emoji482]

We have a local shop 1/2-1 acres of antiques. Very unique and cool thinks. One building is very dark and has flickering lights when you enter the back area. Very creepy vibe and it seriously feels like your being watched. [emoji15] the glass and porcelain insulators were just a sample of the cool stuff they have. Owner is a bit off center but very nice. I picked up an old army helmet for a older gentleman I know at the Placerville Airport. He has a WWII spotter plane that is 100% period correct with all the little things. Thought he would like it for wall art. It’s very rough and looks like it’s been buried in sand for several decades.

After a lot of edging on a damp day.

Ok, I will see you your legs covered in wet yard goo, and raise you sloppy oiled jackhammer legs. [emoji2957]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...06b6e6a38e.jpg

The Flymo brings back memories!
They actually worked pretty well, cut at a consistent height and you could float it sideways, backwards, diagonal... as long as there was not much slope.
They wanted to go down hill and up not so much.
They left no tracks and blew tiny little bits of grass everywhere, damp or wet grass was a messy ordeal.

We were in Charlotte yesterday and this morning. Went by a few NASCAR race shops that were interesting.

I was amazed at the tiny gap between the hood, fenders, etc.

The seats in some cars were tiny. The drivers must be really small.

At the Penske shop, they had about 12 to 15 mustangs in various stages of construction. One guy got in a mustang and I thought, great we get to hear a motor rev up. The car started moving and it was totally silent. Turns out they're battery powered. Is there a series for battery powered Mustangs, etc.?

A pic of a 66 912 that visited the airport. He was holding short in the taxiway for the big Chinook CH-47 that was in the run up area. Not a very social bloke who came across as annoyed when I attempted to talk to him. A very non-typical air cooled driver. Usually the air cooled folks are friendly and enjoy talking about such things. Must of been an off day for him. Although his white leather gloves were a nice touch as he drove off…[emoji23]

That was for a 976-sleeze, my car was in the few as well as I was in a Quiet Riot for MTV BITD as well and my Black SC was in a movie as well.

Mr Grumps has a hurt paw, trying to get him to the vet, but he takes off anytime he sees the carrier, plus he knows that it is well past time to lose his nutz. As a feral I never know if he will show up. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1684786835.jpg

If I didn’t know any better, I think we have Mr Grumps brother. Here is the rub, our “Butthead” is the only cat I’ve ever had to attempt to sedate and use my thick welding gloves to help the vet. He is an arsehole, but he is our arsehole. He will rub on you one second, then try to eat your face the next….[emoji849]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a18691ec5b.jpg

If you ever talk to him, ask if he got that car off a foot doctor. Know a guy had one just like that

I did try, but he wasn’t having any part of it. Stated that “HE” did all the work and restored it. He could of just been having an off day[emoji2371]

I’m pretty well versed with the ones associated with the airport. Didn’t recognize him or the car.
