Overnight BP trip with offspring Ross reservoir drawn down 80' to make room for stupendous amounts of runoff from the surrounding mountainsides. That also enables hikes to summer time islands. For some odd reason camping on an island, in a lake, in the mountains strongly appeals to me, my Son loves it too- even better! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718392807.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718392807.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718392807.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718392807.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718392807.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718392807.JPG Some things are worth the weight- like a bottle of beer, or two. He's 22 in this photo- I love having a beer with him. I do try to maintain some semblance of a "Father figure" http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718392807.jpg You can almost see it in his eye's- Hmmmm, wonder if the old man can make back up that first steep pitch to the trail? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718392807.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718393017.jpg |

In addition to the springs I think there are a couple other components that differ on the front carbs from the rears. Still researching it. Right now on the '84 I'm troubleshooting a starter issue. Will pull the lower radiator tomorrow and see what's going on..... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718500720.JPG |
Nice one from a local car show last night. It was either restored a long time ago or it was in real nice original condition.

Sorry you're in a rough patch Byron, they come and go in waves it seems.
I've lost 2 brothers, 1 sister, both parents, both inlaw's and all my aunt's and uncles. I appreciate the better times just that much more now, all my living sibs are doing pretty good. I have a few photos of Brother Scott that I cherish- My Son's fist overnight adventure with him at (where else) Ross Lake http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718642618.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718642618.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718642618.JPG Patiently teaching Aaron the finer points of rowing http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718642618.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718642618.JPG |

Little visit to my buddy Steve's place, got in a dog 'fix'
His son brought home a Corgi puppy, nextdoor neighbors also have a puppy about the same age... the Corgi thinks he's boss and is frustrated when others don't see it that way http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718988545.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718988545.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718988545.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718988545.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718988545.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718988545.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718988545.jpg Milo is the most stick loving, water loving, toss something and I'll go get it pronto dog I've ever known. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1718988545.jpg |

Milo will hold a stick down low enough that Buster the Corgi can latch on and wrestle-
But no, all sticks within view are Milo's. :) Went from an old Boeing surplus crate as a workbench base for the last 30 years to finally building what I want http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1719099454.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1719099454.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1719099454.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1719099454.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1719099454.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1719099454.jpg I'm pleased with it, the drawers are on 100 lb rated slides that glide in and out very smooth and I've still got one empty drawer http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1719099454.jpg |
