Well said Tabs!

Recent Rennlist arrivals to the shores of Pelican - please end this thread and leave this forum for discussion outside the Rennlist issue/s.

In other words take your high school *****ing elsewhere.

Thanks in advance.

Mark

I just come in to occupy, predominantly, OT political threads. Although I am interested in Porsche technology and engineering, I do not presently own a Porsche.

My car is a 2002 WRX - midnight blue, carbonfiber hood, silver Enkei's, giant front-mount intercooler (many other non-cosmetic engine and suspension mods).

Say hello sometime if you see me.

Jason

I sure will, my brother has a 2000 Blue ridge 2.5 RS that will probably end up turbo within the year...

I guarantee with Carlos, George and Red posting here you have nowhere but down to go. On a different note I have gotten a kick of the people from Rlist moving here and in equal amounts have declared it either a Left wing or Right wing wacko site. Kinda funny.
Cheers

Sure Mike N, or Jim H.

You contribute a wealth of positive things. You just made up a new user account to come over here and slam people. Your no better than anyone else.

so the number of posts does equal the amount of knowledge and common sense?? I call shenanigans..

FWIW I've been on Pelican since June 2002- and this "pool" of "talent" has really made it so much better lately.

Ok, here is my $0.42:
This is a repost from a recent thread:
Ok, for clarification, Click HERE for the Pelicanparts OT Forum guidelines.

Or, for the lazy ones, I've posted it here:
Quote:

Forum Guidelines
OK: to make this forum an effective place, here are some guidelines for us to live by in this Off Topic area. As the moderator of this forum, I will do my best to serve your needs.

1. No flaming: debates are ok, but responding to threads just to incite or start an argument or conflict is not permitted. Personal attacks, if hostile in nature, are not allowed.

2. No pointless threads or excessive posting allowed: Yes, this is an off topic forum, but let's keep the subject matter of an intelligent nature. If you're bored, play a game on your playstation or better yet, wash your car! Posting responses to increase your 'number of posts' is also not allowed.

3. Absolutely no pornographic, objectionable, or illegal material allowed. No pictures, links to pictures, discussion of porn...etc. is allowed. Objectionable material includes graphic gore, tasteless jokes, and any off-color subject matter. Such posts will be deleted, and such posts are grounds for banning.

4. No discussion of any illegal activity permitted. This not only jeoparizes Pelican Parts and Wayne, it will ultimately jeopardize you! Linking to any site that deals with illegal activity is not allowed. Posting information on how to defraud a company or misuse a product or any promotion of any illegal activity will not be tolerated. Again, such posts are grounds for banning. Observe all copyright laws when posting copyrighted material.

5. Do not impersonate other people or use fake aliases. Only one userid per person allowed.

6. No profanity allowed. Make every effort to express your views without resorting to trash talk.

7. Respect other's privacy: no posting of pictures, phone numbers, email addresses...etc. of another individual without their permission.

There will be posts in the off topic area that will have heated debates. Please approach such threads with caution: be as clear as possible in posting your views, so you won't be mis-interpretted. Heated debates are good, as long as people enter them with a mature attitude and are willing to "agree to disagree." Mutual respect goes a long way.

I don't believe these guidelines are unreasonable. Let's have fun here, but keep the peace too.

Have fun!
-Zoltan.

Regarding point #1: There has been an increase of personal attacks and flaming recently. I suggest that EVERYONE ease off on that a bit.

I suggest that everyone ease up a bit with all this negative posting. This is not the place for pissing matches. If you have any decency and respect for others, I suggest you stop this type of posting.

If you want to continue to flame other folks, or get real nasty, then I suggest you take it to www.offtopic.net and have a go at it there.

As for the Rennlist OT issues some of you have - you have all said your fill (and then some) regarding Rennlist. I consider this subject to be closed. As such, this thread is now closed.

Many thanks,
-Zoltan.
