Oh goody, another soap opera.

This is getting humorous, however....

As was stated before, take it outside. Then down the street. Then to the next state and maybe across the Pacific.

Just thank your lucky stars that Julie, aka "Devia" seems to have decided to stay over there...a bi sexual S/M girl, also an artist. Her art is top notch tho...seriously! She reminds me of the old saying: "Conform...go crazy...or become an artist." Never did quite figure out which of the latter two descriptions she fit.
If you are banned, you can always unban yourself manually. You just got to know what to type in the URL.

Look up 'SQL injection white papers', and study the 'UNION SELECT' structure and if you know what your doing the sky is the limit.

:)

Not worth the effort...but I will miss Devia..;)

I imagine John D. might have a thing or two to say about someone doing that though. . . Rennlist user agreement makes anyone returning that's been banned liable for a LOT of money. John seems like the kind of person that doesn't get pissed off too easily; if someone succeeds and ends up getting banned, I wouldn't put it past him to actually go after them for damages in court.

Chris_924s 07-23-2004 08:25 PM

yep- it's 5 grand worth of fine after being banned.

Amazing. Amazing anyone puts up with that nonsense. I've said it before and I'll say it again--I participate on quite a few car related web fora, and Rennlist is a genuine anachronism. It's as if Joseph McCarthy was the manager of a rave club.

Really, that's the law?

Its 10 million fine if neocons reply to this thread.

Who says everybody agreed to sign up and hit that check box on the EULA for any board? I can sign up to any messageboard from my local C: drive and I didn't check any box to any agreement on any EULA if I don't want to. It would cost more than 5k for any lawyer to sue a person who came back because they were banned. They'd have to prove everything in court or they would loss.

What would the damages be?

Chris_924s 07-23-2004 08:51 PM

Man your dumb. Borrow a quarter and buy a clue.

George 911-V8 07-23-2004 09:41 PM

It's getting DEEP!!!!!

no doubt. it would really be extremely difficult to make that case in court

This thread almost makes me nostalgic for the good old days of Rennlist OT....oh wait, no it doesn't. Good riddance to Carlos, George, and the rest. Changing the OT to members only there was a friggin excellent idea, evidenced by the crapstorm being raised here right now by the banned (and unpaying) members of that board.

George 911-V8 07-24-2004 06:40 AM

I'm still on rennlist I just don't agree with the members only stuff.

Clarify this for me...why did they make it Members only? What was the official justification?

Nabeel, acting like the rennlist ot has changed is bull****. I can post links of the same old bull**** going on now that was going on before these non paying members came here. Your rennlist rightiousness is a facade.... perhaps your past flame wars with the two you mention has clouded your evaluation.

btw.. I am a paying member there also. Lifer at that.

I haven't seen any explanation for why the OT are members only now. I assume it's to hopefully cut down on the flamewars that pop up ever so often. Also it seems like the OT forum has the most attachments and therefore also eats up most bandwidth(??).
There are users on RL who post 90% in the OT forum.

I think RL is worth $18 (or more) and am glad to sponsor the site with my membership. Now that the worst flamers are driven away from RL (and over to this forum it appears, judging from this thread) I believe RL actually will get even better.

I think it's stupid that some of the members who have posts in the thousands on RL decide to leave because they no longer have access to the OT forums. Obviously they did not have any Porsche-related reason for being there in the first place, and therefore will not be missed.
