Small and selective samples. I saw a gallop poll of under 800 people.
Why all voting systems aren't standardized with redundant and paper backups is beyond me. And why mutiple people connected to the administration aren't away on fraud charges? No jobs, no taxes earned, no military spending. Isn't that what happened to the USSR in the 80's? |

Where are the Senate and the House races going?? What is happening on the State level? Why are we so obsessed with the Presidency?? To think that one person, one administration could make a majority of Americans happy, (while acting as presidential as Martin Sheen in "West Wing"), we are not only kidding ourselves but we are setting the groundwork for a future dictatorship. If all the idiots who send me "MoveOn.org" e-mails actually bothered to vote in local elections, sometimes volunteer or get involved with their children's school, this would be a better country indeed..

That's the fallacy of the theory of big government, it's the activity of the people on the local level that determine the quality of life in an area. Said activity extends to parental and personal responsibility as well. If the kids don't do well in school, many times it can be traced directly to a disinterested parent who thinks the school should be the surrogate parent.
