That's with 14% in... not the blowout I'd expect for Cali.

It seems like Kerry is pinning his hopes now on one county in Ohio- Cuyahoga, and there aren't that many more votes to be counted there. As far as I can tell the other counties with significant uncounted votes are mainly going for Bush. Looks v. unlikely to me.

As I count it (have resorted to Excel now), Bush has 255 quite likely, Kerry has 258 quite likely, leaving NV and OH up in the air.

I thought NV was a sure Bush state but I see that the largest county by far is Clark County and it is leaning Kerry. 5 votes.

OH is looking like a Bush state to me, it is not looking callable yet but sure is going that way. 20 votes.

So things are definitely looking up for Bush.

SF Bay counties & LA county are reported 0% according to CNN. I wouldn't put too much weight on the CA count so far- outside those areas most other counties would be even or tend republican.

Currently, the more conservative media institutions (foxnews, for example) have Bush at 269, while more liberal institutinos (cnn comes to mind) have Bush at 249.

Remember, there are plenty of used-car lots in the Washington DC area...often very hard to tell the used car salesmen from the congressmen

I will not succumb to the darkside of the force. The rebellion shall strike back and take power from the emperor and darth vader. Then peace shall be restored throughout the galaxy. Sorry just finished the Empire Strikes Back haha. Honestly being a young and first time voter (21) this election has been very exciting for me. Reading up on all the issues, pros, cons and so on and so forth has further established my belief that who I voted for truly deserves the job.

Bush did this, Kerry did that, I'm better, no I am, this is a tough job, yada yada yada. South Park was rather interesting last Wednesday it faced Kyle with voting between a giant douche and a terd sandwich. He went with the terd sandwich, the lesser of two evils.

As far as who was what I leave that to you. The biggest success in this election was not Bush being reelected of Kerry taking office, it was voter turnout. Whomever ends up taking office these are trying and interesting times not only at home but more specifically throughout the world. India and Pakistan are becoming the new China, China is becoming its own superpower, the number one consumer of raw material in the world and the largest producer of products. Escalating problems in the middle east, dislike and distrust from Europe and more importantly dislike and distrust from at home.

I wish the next pres. elect the best of luck, he will surely need it. I do prefer one greatly over the other for a great number of reasons which I feel no need to explain here.
