Bush still has Florida, even if ALL remaining Broward Co votes got to Kerry.

bryanthompson 11-02-2004 08:39 PM

Do those percentages for total include absentee ballots? I realize that they can't be counted yet, but are they at least in the total?

red-beard 11-02-2004 08:42 PM

On Fox. Does she sound like she's been drinking?

dd74 11-02-2004 08:42 PM

CNN states "unofficially" that the Kerry camp has conceded Fla.

bryanthompson 11-02-2004 08:43 PM

I think ABC just added them in there.

red: do you mean susan estrich? I can't stand her. argh.

bryanthompson 11-02-2004 08:43 PM

Didn't abc call FL first in 2k?

red-beard 11-02-2004 08:44 PM

Yeah, she's slurring...

I don't think they are. I could be wrong, though.

red-beard 11-02-2004 08:47 PM

CBS called Florida for Bush

Well I will be pissed if Washington comes out close. (wife & I voted thirdparty)

But I'm quite certain, in this Subaru-stickered State, Bush doesn't stand a chance.

But Florida . . . that's done. (Bush)

IIRC from the 2000 election, most of the absentee ballots in FL are from the miliary, no?

That would help Bush, hurt Kerry.

bryanthompson 11-02-2004 08:48 PM

The more they count, the more bush gets... he's leading by 291,082 right now with 93.9% in.

Edit: in FL, that is.

island911 11-02-2004 08:52 PM

NY Times has Bush up (FL) 321k 96.9%in 2.5%lead

red-beard 11-02-2004 08:54 PM

The Pubs think that the absentee will add something like 120K to Bush.

bryanthompson 11-02-2004 08:58 PM

With florida, that makes 237 for the good guys

add 9 for colorado
5 for new mexico
20 for ohio

and that makes 271. without Washington, Oregon, Cali, NV, Iowa, Wisconsin, or Michigan... Hopefully we can grab a few of them though.

ubiquity0 11-02-2004 09:10 PM

Have to say that it doesn't look good for Kerry right now. Bush has a 150,000 lead in Ohio with ~75% of votes counted, & it seems like if Bush gets that one he's in.

For some reason Fox News refuses to give Florida to Bush, although when I count the # of votes not counted is less than Bush's margin?

bryanthompson 11-02-2004 09:12 PM

I think they're tryin' to stick it to the other networks and lefties... since FoxNews is "responsible" for givin' florida to Bush the first time... ack.

island911 11-02-2004 09:15 PM

yeah, FL at 97.2in, and 4.71 Lead for Bush
oHIo 67.8% in and 3.5% lead for Bush
4 for Hawaii ?

Well, Kerry still has all that Money. :)

Z-man 11-02-2004 09:17 PM

OH is still too close.
52% for Bush (2,166,221), 48% for Kerry (2,032,314); 76% in.
