They haven't done that before...

My understanding is that time-wise, season 4 starts up a minute after season 3 ended.

True, but I'm just wondering if they'll crank up the hype-o-meter, this being the "final season" and all. . . I expect such things from the idiot box. BSG has been (overall) pretty refreshing in regards to its deliberatly NOT succumbing to conventional programming patterns though. I'm really hoping they keep it up to the end and don't resort to the conventional lame-o tactics used to pump more advertising.

The few times they used "to be continued" I was a little annoyed but not so much so I think the show is terrible. I'm hoping it ends well. It's time for the show to wrap up (writing was getting stale in a couple of areas). I don't tune in for much "live" anymore, but I probably will tonight. . .

Good way to pick the series back up.

Something the Cylon's have always said is; it has happened before and will happen again.

I think when they go thru a nebula or black hole to get to Earth they end up getting stuck in a time loop of some sorts. They end up at the start of the series and it happens all over again......................just like reruns.

I don't know if Starbuck is a Cylon, but in the two episode build up to the first show of the season they showed Six being reborn after the nuke blast, the one where she used her body to shield Baltar. Baltar had to of been killed in that same blast, he must of been reborn or cloned somehow......I've been saying this for a while.

I doubt it is Baltar. I'm betting it's either Billy, Prez Ros' deceased aid, or Ellen, Tigh's deceased wife.

the final cylon will be lee adama.

i lost respect for the show when they had baltar on trial. it degenerated into a mediocre law and order rip off.

When they were on New Caprica, didn't the Cheif and his wife have a baby? Now we know he is a Cylon, is this hybrid baby number 2?

I think that might go somewhere in the series as well...

That is why I believe that Chief isn't a Cylon - all male cylons are sterile. Unless of course, the rules are changed for the FF (Final Five). In that case, the writers got a lot of 'esplainin' to do.

I still don't believe that Baltar is a toaster. No way. It would violate the original show & concept way too much.

That was my thought as well, meaning the Chief not really being a Cylon, but they did say that four of the final five have been revealed. I can see the athlete/Starbucks husband guy being a toaster, his eye did something when he was in the Viper, and then the toasters left, so I am wondering if something was inserted into the heads or ears of the Chief and Tigh, and the Prez's aid and the athlete guy are "real" cylons, and the other two just a divertion.

Probably stretching it hear, but who knows.

Also, what is the explanation for the brand new Viper Starbuck was in?

I asked the same question at the end of last season. Apparently he picked it up from the Pegasus before it blew up.

Not the newer model Lee was on, that was answered from the Pegasus. Starbuck's Viper was "like it sjust came off the showroom floor" new....

If Starbuck were a Cylon then when her Viper blew up last season she would have resurrected. The Cylons built the new Viper, and put her new body in it.

As a side note we can postulate that all of the final five are on the Galactica since the Number Six in the brig said she felt them near.
