Not the actual car, but an identical one.

But the first car was a '62 Nova Chevy II wagon. Loved that one too until someone decided they had the right of way when pulling out of a parking lot onto the street. Took my pristine car that I had rebuilt from the ground up and bent it pretty bad.

my first car at 14-15 yrs old was a 60's Simca bought for $80. The clutch slipped so bad, I could slow it down by opening the doors. Air brakes!!!! my next car... a 66 Rambler, bought for $50. At 9 yrs old, I got my first motorbike, a Montgomery Wards moped that I drove to school. that was pretty cool in the mid 60's! gas was 17 cents a gallon, I could ride all week on one tank.

Same thing happened to me...except it was a '72 Chevelle and it's demise was caused by a drunk Lummi Indian driving a '75 Monte Carlo down State St (near it's intersection w/ E. Holly). My car was parked with no one in it when he hit at about 45 mph, there were no skid marks left by his car. His bumper was in my back seat when all was said and done. He wasn't wearing his seat belt and the windshield showed it. I had spent the entire summer rebuilding that car...motor, tranny, rear end, suspension...everything gone in an instant. I think I may have cried...

Mid-60s VW square back - always parked on a hill, wore earplugs for a while when I blew out a spark plug, permanent brain damage from breathing exhaust fumes throught the sprung hatch, etc. Sweet ride
