Michael Brown, testifying before the 'select committee' investigating the Katrina performance of FEMA, lied about several things... both when LA declared a state of emergency/evacuation order and what parishes were named in the FEMA intervention request. But did anyone bust him on it? No, it's mostly Republicans investigating Republicans.

I thought Bubba changed the standards forever on what constitutes a "lie", even in front of an authority as high as a grand jury.

Brown is guilty, to be sure, guilty for not having the foresight to call a police state for Louisiana, put the local politicians in Gitmo, and try his best to stop the snowball from becoming an avalanche...The problem WOULD NOT HAVE EXISTED had the snowball been prevented from metastacizing into that avalanche...That prevention is squarely the responsibility of the first responders and the asleep at the wheel local and state liberal politicos.

Why did the media witch hunt stop at the doorstep of Brown/Bush?...Why didn't it include the obviously incompetent Blanco and Nagin?...It was a witch hunt is why.

Recent tapes vindicate Brown and Bush...Apparently the State of Louisiana denied Federal assistance. The question is why did the AP decide to resurrect Brown after crucifying him?

The New York Times had transcripts of the tapes on August 28 and August 29. The media is trying to do another snow job on the public, equating 'overtopping' levees with 'breached' levees.

According to Chris Matthews (who is showing the tapes, and then saying they are saying what they are not) AP released the tapes...AP has an unmistakable anti-Republican agenda.

The issue was resurrected by the mediaists...I figured it befitting that I resurrect a thread dealing with Brown's crucificixion to put the full high court press's intentional portrayal of Brown, with demon scarlet red, into perspective.

Interesting that the holier than thou press painted Brown demon and now are painting him innocent...It proves one thing, that they are liars and know their power in manipulating the public; or they are simply ignorant, which is not the case.
