Mike,

Make sure you take pics of all the different color stages. You can put them all together, kinda Andy Warhol-esque, and make one heckuva piece of art.

Surely that would be worth a small fortune!

Thanks Mike,

We see a lot of that in the pediatric setting, of course. Just was not sure if that was your condition too.

Normally it is done on kids. They recover quickly.

Here is a pic of Day 3. The eyeball is the same but the orbital is showing more bruising. The left eye is great even though it got cut as well.

So much for red eye reduction!

funny as a crutch Richy...(thats before your time).

Actually, I have some very bad double vision. In fact, when I stand up and walk it feels like I am drunk and on a sailboat except I have no buzz and no sail to trim. I have been seasick for a few days now. As for Pam - I just close one eye and the double vision goes away. I get the sense she likes a one eyed monster.

LOL. So are you using an eyepatch or anything to take away the double vision? If so, won't it effect your depth perception?

no patch - you have to use the eyes and "teach" your brain on how to align all over again. Try crossing your eyes and walk around the room. Now cross your eyes and try to drive or read. That is what I see and that feeling of eye muscle strain is what I have all waking moments.

Makesw driving home after work each day a real treat and an adventure. The hardest thing is doing homework with my son or reading to the them. Then I may close an eye.

So is all of the blood "trapped" in the eyeball now? Was there any bleeding near the pupil?

Starting to look better!

Good luck with the eye muscle healing and brain re-training!
You'll be happy when it's all over!

Matt - no blood "trapped", it is just like if you had a bruise. The blood vessels get smasshed or cut and the blood has to go somewhere. Youreyebal is no different. The white part is sorta like the skin but it is transparent. If your skin was transparent, a bruise would look much worse than it does - all bloody and what not.

Big day today! I was able to wear my contacts! I'm supposee to wait another week but my glasses were driving me nuts and I have 20/200 without.

Here is day 11 for all 3 of you that care - the eye is turning from red to yellow - it bypassed green (thank God!), maybe it was green while I was asleep.
