The elders distain the migration of US headphone music, clothes, cell phones, and computers to their young. They rationalize it as American imperialism with Israel as the gun toting enforcer. Their youth love American culture, want to be like Americans, are aware of our standard of living, and question their elders why they have life so lousy.

"Truth out" would be that the story is pure fiction; not only did the meeting it was "based" on not take place, but Fitz wasn't even in DC when it was supposed to have happened.

I agree with the ideal that we should never trust the gvt. 100%, but I have to question putting any trust in the media's reporting of said govt.
This sort of hit and run reporting isn't the sole property of moonbat blogs, the big media has embraced it as well and is counting on the short attention span of the veiwer/reader to accept and never question.

Be extra careful out there.

Pleading out seems to be the modern way of life. Seems as if so many do it. Limbaugh comes to mind, on his radio show saying: "See, I am NOT GUILTY!!!"

They're all csooks.. equal opportunity, regardless of race, creed, religious belief or political party...

Not to mentioned the allegations of one being victimless and the other a sex crime.

Victimless is a matter of opinion, respectfully. Had Rush "got away with it (opinion on my part), could he not have influenced other people that unauthorized use of prescription drugs was OK?

Remember, friend...I was once married to an individual who abused prescription drugs, Her actions nearly ruined a number of lives of those around her. Like a pebble thrown into a pond, you never know what the ripples will touch. Victimless? You decide. (She is, BTW, deceased and according to the doctor, the past drug use was a contributing factor. Her death deprived five grandchildren of a grandmother. Victimless?

Not picking on you, just pointing out that there are rarely events that are totally "victimless".

That's OK....We are not really that far apart on principle, but it still puzzles me how any public figure, when opining, differs from any other category such as politician, business leader, actor or radio/TV personality. They ALL are out to change people's thinking.

And, to restate, ALL actions have consequences. That is just simple logic.

Fitzgerald will need the backing of the NYT after DeLay finishes with him. Politics is not Fitz's strong point which will enable him to be a CNN analyst on attacking the Reps.
