What would it have taken to boil the needles. Because of this there is an outside chanch that mankind will cease to exist.

The reality of Aids is that 100s of Millions will have to die, perhaps the toll eventually will be in the Billions. This creats a drag on society in that it is the young adult population in their most productive and creative years that is lost. It will also destabilize regions where the maturity of adults is lost and left to children to govern. Another outcome from Aids will be more repressive sexual practices.

However man has put pressure on the Earths Eco-system with overpopulation and Mother Nature is giving man her response.

Yep. No matter how we try to cure things, there will always be a new disease on the horizon.

It's funny, in the ecosystem, the larger animals keep the smaller animals in check, e.g., the lion keeps the wildebeast in check. What keeps the top of the foodchain animal (humans) in check? The smallist organism.

I remember reading this in a paramilitary publication back in the early 90's. It was speculation, or a "conspiracy theory", but the article did make some interesting hypothesisessses. But I believe that this primarily gets it's strenght from peoples distrust of governments.


Historically, there have been other periods of "cleansing". Big ones like the biblical flood and the ice age, and smaller ones like the bubonic plague. I don't think that mankind will be wiped out completely, but I think the numbers will be reduced to a more manageable size.

Those who survive the cleansing will have developed superior technology and will live a utopian life under a giant polymer bubble.

no matter how many live aids Bob Geldof puts together, nothing he does will change the truth... to many people for to little resources = lot's of dead people , be that from disease or starvation...
