The multitude of excuses from Landis just doesn't pass my smell test.
Laneco, if there's cheating at Cat 1-3 level racing, who knows know goes on at the top level. jurgen |

Landis mught have even more problems ahead this was recently posted at cycling news.........
The president of the professional teams association and Quick.Step team manager Patrick Lefevere has put forward the idea of legal action against Floyd Landis for damaging the sport of cycling. "Actually, we should take him to court for what he is now doing to cycling," said Lefevere to Sportwereld.be. "Why not? Why not take the American approach of dealing with things and apply it here? As long as Landis continues to maintain that he knows nothing, this sort of scenario becomes more likely. I feel like throwing up when I hear him. Landis has turned the clock back 20 years."

it's probably a big mouth statement, i doubt the team association will pull a trick like that, if they do , they'll simply be counter sued for setting the expectations to high within the team, and indirectly pushing the cyclists into a position where they have no other choice but to dope...
realistically , that's not so difficult to proove, since most team managers will have the contracts written with deliveries - racing in all the big races - racing in all a set number of smaller races - minimum performance i doubt it would be difficult to get real physicians (not sport cooks) to testify that the bar is simply set to high for any normal human beeing at least, that's how i would do it... but then again, i've been known to make sure that if i go down, i go down in flames... and i've also been accused of having a wild imagination... oh well

Was reading an article on Nicky Hayden and came across this news about Landis' father-in-law. Sad.

What an implosion. I'm sure the fans will forget, but bike racing has left a bad taste in my mouth.
