Good deal. Be patient, the local market probably is (or will be) moving in your direction, and since you're going to be living there for a long time (I assume) you want to be sure its the right house. Mortgage rates have dipped, maybe consider if you should re-lock your rate?

Well, we just bought another house. The first house was terrible. Our realtor has been better than expected. We are writing a letter to his manager with a lot of commendations. He has taken great care of us.
Let me just say this, get a home inspection...well worth the money. We close in 2 weeks, and we couldn't be happier. This is a great house with a clean inspection in a great neighborhood. Wish us luck...hehe

I don't buy houses very often, but the last two times the "house inspector" was pretty useless. Both times I got a green light and a fancy printed report and both times they missed items that they should have seen. I had a pretty good RE agent last time who helped move things along and did not drop the ball.
