Please..... Their defense is garbage. The OSU-Michigan game was the worst defensive game I've seen in the last 5 years. It was like watching BYU-SDSU in the early '90s. There were more points scored in that game than I have ever seen scored in all of the OSU-UM games I've watched combined. Nothing but missed tackles, wide open receivers, and quarterbacks sitting planted in the pocket for the entire game. It was fun to watch, but so is Tecmo Super Bowl on NES. Sorry Sonic, neither of those teams will beat a team with a good defense.

Well you are entitled to your opinion, my opinion is that OSU and Michigan both have a ton of offensive firepower...more than Florida and certainly much more than your LSU Tigers. Though I think an LSU vs. Michigan would be an interesting matchup but will have to wait until next years NC game ha ha

Its really a shame, but conference championship games mean nothing in the BCS. So Florida beats an Arkansas team that just got handled by LSU. Florida already beat LSU. It means nothing. Unless they lose. Oklahoma lost their conference championship game in '03 and still played in the BCS championship game.

nothing means nothing... thats why they need a playoff Shuie...

And to think some analysts prefer this "method" vs. a playoff because it spurs these ridiculous debates, relative scores of similar opponents, conferences vs. conference etc.

A simple 4 team playoff would decide this and add just 1 extra game to the season...and that would be worth millions to the money hungry networks and conferences...

there really is not a valid reason why they dont do this.

I like LSU and Les Miles. Michigan would have played them had USC not lost. Big props to UCLA for playing a great game today btw...

A rematch between M and OSU would be fun. If Michigan won, it would split the season 1-1. Surely many OSU fans wouldnt be happy with this result and would demand a split NC.

Michigan deserves the bid. They lost to #1 in a close game. Period.

Maybe LSU will finally get the USC matchup. I cant imagine they will drop that far and its still the Rose Bowl. Then we can really talk some smack around here. Of course, pwd would have to give me crap about how the Beavers almost beat LSU a couple of years ago

At this rate, FLA. will kick the Trojans asses. Arkansas will too if it is Arkansas.

I haven't seen play that flat out of the pride of Exposition Park since the Robinson-era at the freakin' Las Vegas bowl - where the Trojans lost with a score much like tonight's.

It all started with Texas this past January. Now everyone has the Trojans' number.

Quite frankly, seeing how the Trojans played this season as compared to last season with Lineart/Bush, then Palmer before that, I had a hard time believing they were #3, then #2.

Holtz has been right since Xmas '05 about the Trojans: they were in danger.
