Yeah I taped Thomas Crown when it came on tv several years ago, and watched part of it. It was good. I also love the Great Esacape (have it on DVD), Bullitt (also on DVD) Sand Pebbles (DVD again) and somewhere I taped the Getaway, which was really good. I watched that one the whole way thru...I haven't finished Sand Pebbles but it's good so far...unfortunately, someone ruined it for me by telling the ending...I was not happy about that...
Hey I've got a neat pic to show u guys...you'll love this...

This is the last McQueen poster I have, it's going to be framed next week.

Alas...I owned one Porsche or another for 40 years, and not a single Steve McQueen poster in the place. Hey, I do have a framed jigsaw puzzle that I found when cleaning out my mother's old home. Only 2 pieces missing from the puzzle...Gene Autry and Champion...
Now he's a true childhood hero.

By the way, no one has mentioned Steve McQueen starring in "The Blob". They say he HATED it when people brought up that film, I wonder if that's true?

EXACTLY!
Smart young lady! I imagine if you gave me Jack Olsen's car (not that he would) and you gave Mario Andretti -yes, even at 70+ a new.....I don't know, maybe some showroom poser of a sports car. He'd kick my azz all over the track. Now, I'd LOVE to see the greats of the racing worold made to race a group of low performanace pig sedans. THEN you'd see who the best "nuts and guts" driver was.

Okay, YOU take Jack's car! There are PLENTY of other cars on Pelican that I would give my....uh....er....precious anatomy for! Is it SD DW's (?) silver RSR? I'd give up body parts for that car. And I can think of plenty more. If California ever goes back to the rolling 30 year exemption? My theoretical 2.7 RS rebuild is going out the window for a 3.6 swap into my midyear car. One can only dream!
