Katie's just fine, nothing out of the ordinary for a 20 something college kid.......ya'll should be helping, not criticizing. (At least SHE knows what a Porsche is.......)

Can't say so for the dude in the "what IS that?" yellow thing.....that's just not right.

On second thought, HE's the one who needs help!

Goota hand it to her, (katie) she's got spunk. Anyone who wants to do any "critiqueing" of that shot is allowed to, but only after they post a similar shot of themselves...a current one!

(And i'm not thinking Captain Weirdo counts there, )

Play nice folks!

Well, actually someone please buy that car and restore it to its former glory, PLEASE! Someone with a lot of $$$$.....and get rid of that paint. On an early car aubergine yes, lilac no.

Us Mopar guys call the color "Plum Crazy" !

Here's a pic for fun: We did a promotion with Disney for the Herbie Fully Loaded movie, and were made these custom Simpson race suits (I had mine signed by the 5 main cast members) Then we were invited to the premiere in Hollywood.
PS. Thats me in the middle with the BIG GRIN!

Thank you Lisa for the compliments. That pic was taken on my family's boat at Lake Norman, NC. As for what I was up to that day, I was probably taking a break from tubing...(being pulled in a big tube behind the boat, for those of you who don't know.)

That is when we had any water in any goddamn lake etc down here - drought is taking on a new meaning ...

Anyway; looks like you were having fun in the sun

The bidding looks rigged.

Car is at 7700 2 days ago, no action, then Bidder 13 comes along and moves the price 2.5k and then incrementaly bumps it another 2k within a minutes time.

Smells awfully foul to me.

I hope those are tears of sympathy for the prospective new owner!

There really oughtta be a hallmark card for cars like this one.

"I'm so sorry for your recent purchase of..."

or maybe a little more upbeat

"Bon Voyage and good luck on your journey..."

Katie's not stupid. She may be in love (which resembles insanity), but she's not stupid. She may even know that this shell is worth more than that car. True fact, Katie. This shell is WAY closer to being a reliable car than whats-his-name.
