Dayum! I ran across this thread again and am really surprised that y'all are still floggin' it. Please put this thread to "bed" as well as that nasty purple car. Well, actually someone please buy that car and restore it to its former glory, PLEASE! Someone with a lot of $$$$.....and get rid of that paint. On an early car aubergine yes, lilac no.

Here's a pic for fun: We did a promotion with Disney for the Herbie Fully Loaded movie, and were made these custom Simpson race suits (I had mine signed by the 5 main cast members) Then we were invited to the premiere in Hollywood. PS. Thats me in the middle with the BIG GRIN!

The bidding looks rigged.
Car is at 7700 2 days ago, no action, then Bidder 13 comes along and moves the price 2.5k and then incrementaly bumps it another 2k within a minutes time. Smells awfully foul to me.

Katie's not stupid. She may be in love (which resembles insanity), but she's not stupid. She may even know that this shell is worth more than that car. True fact, Katie. This shell is WAY closer to being a reliable car than whats-his-name.
