Right now my eldest daughter is going on a "Here's Lucy" kick (the second color series). She was also into the earlier "I love Lucy" and "The Lucy Show" for a while. In many respects they are so much better then a lot of the standard formula comedies of today, even though they were still formulized. "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" is also classic, except lots of people today don't even remember how great of a collection of comics the cast was. Jack Benny was classic!

As far as kid's comedies -- "Kim Possible" and "Hanna Montana" are actually surprisingly good.

My wife and I almost never watch any of the adult current adult comedies. Most of them just seem pretty stupid and predictable, if not just plain crass.

Entourage on HBO new season should be starting real soon.

Weeds on Showtime, I do not like the lifestyle but the show is well cast and very entertaining.

I do not watch network TV but my wife watches House and loves it.

i don't know if you can get kids to watch anything in black and white, if they are willing though you might try dvds of laurel and hardy, chaplin, wc fields, marx bros. even the mayhem of the three stooges seems preferable to most of the swill passing for comedy on tv today. as long as der kinder don't poke each others eyes out.
I still love The Little Rascals

I enjoy kid's comedy shows that are funny one two levels, one for the kids and the other for the adults (parents) watching it with the kids. Bug's Life, Pixar movies, etc... are all funny to me but the current Disney stuff is unwatchable. I cannot watch even a few minutes of the Disney Channel shows without wanting to upchuck.

Well if we are heading to cartoons then I call Spongebob Squarepants! My 13 y/o, 3 y/o and I will sit and all 3 of us will laugh at that one.
