Why would her time served be increased from 23 to 45 days?

The feeding frenzy on Fox network over Paris is an embarrassment to intelligent people, I can't believe 100% of their on air time is dedicated to this BS. No matter what happend now the feeding frenzy will continue.

Next time she should paint herself black and get Johnny Cochran to represent her against the tyrrany of the white man.

I think its great.

The woman displayed total disregard and lack of respect for the law....she got caught DUI, then, even though she clearly could afford being chauffered anywhere she wanted to go, got caught without a license and now worked her way out of a reduced sentence....and finally a bit of justice.

There is a different law for the rich...they have options for dealing with things like a suspended licence and don't have to worry about making rent...it is easier for them to cope.

If she was a single mom who needed her car to drive to work I might forgive her driving without a license....but in Paris' case....no sympathy at all. And it is not like she is being executed or put on the rack, come on .....

It has made my day....

Don't forget, her publicist told her it was OK to drive, since she was "working".

Hey, if Martha could do it, Paris can.

I think she'll stay put this time...

You know, I've seen that facial expression before, except it has always been on 3-4 year-olds.

I've lived a pretty good life, and I, for the most part, have stayed on the straight and norrow. If I had been stopped for what she had, I am sure I would have payed a lawyer, gotten a reduced sentance, and then kept my nose clean for whatever time was needed.

Paris ignored all. She didn't listen in court. She didn't know what her lawyer had her sign. She tried to pawn it off on her publicist. She will take no personal responsibility. I have about 1 grain of sand of sympathy for her, but that is it. She flaunted the law long enough.

And with her wealth, she could have paid for a limo to take her wherever and whenever she wanted.

Let us not forget, during the infamous Britney Spears beaver photos, Paris was driving on a suspended license.

Yes, and that's what is strange to me. I mean, what is it with the obnoxiously wealthy?

- was the publicist too afraid of PH to say, "No, you can't drive."
- "work?" C'mon, no one regards appearances at events and going out clubbing as "work."
- PH is either stupid or hopelessly ignorant.
- Much like L.A. County's head sheriff, Lee Baca, who initiated Hilton's early release, Baca himself might be "released" a bit early from his job because of these embarrassing theatrics.

I hope so. And for the sake of people in LA county, let's hope the new sherrif will allow CHL for the common people.

LOL. I'll set 'em up, you knock 'em down!

red-beard 06-08-2007 02:57 PM

Yes, but getting caught in that condition will cause a sentance that would make Paris' sentance look like an overnight.
