I've never seen so much schadenfreude. But I have to confess I share in it with you guys.

He was elected, not hired. But, he may not get re-elected and not just because of this episode. He has been releasing prisoners (sometimes after only hours) for some time now due to severe overpopulation of the jails.

He did what he thought was right, but it was a bad move public relations wise. We could have probably accepted 10 days out of the 23, which were only part of the original 45. Most prisoners wouldn't have done even that much if they stayed quiet and behaved.

Yeah, Rick, it's funny how WE spend our time. ;)

I almost erupted pinot noir from my proboscis. Please refrain from such witty outbursts in the future.

There is a rumor that she was going to have her ankle bracelet engraved today. It was to say: "Paris ♥ Lee".

This is a case of Reality meeting Paris Hilton for the first time. MOmmy and Daddy didn't teach her any manners now the County of LA is.

My question is are they going to throw her into the the General Population of LA County or is she going back to her nice warm cell in the celebrity block. Love her to meet some of her fans in the General Population, meet new frinds that she can invite over for a swim party and all.

Paris Hilton is the best joke I've heard this year.

cool_chick 06-08-2007 09:20 PM

Tabs, she would likely die if thrown into the general population.

Hey, is that Angelena Jolie in the front seat?

She broke the law more than once and expected to be treated lightly. House arrest for 23 days was a joke. If I had to be stuck at home for 23 days, I would probably get a chance to write a book or something.

Lets see how she behaves afterwards........

red-beard 06-08-2007 09:54 PM

My wife heard she was planning a party at home tonight.

House arrest = full sentence (40 days left)
Jail = reduced sentence

It still would have been one gigantic party at her house :rolleyes:
