FK FASTPAT...Fast has a set of ideas that are not amenable for rational discussion. In other words he is a Goofball Crackpot. And U can tell him I said so.

He was kind of cute in a "I just turned 15 and I just learned all about anarchy and how Jews control the world and how the South will win the Civil War some day" kind of way. But it got old real fast.

Well the Va invasion has been completed. We arrived safe and sound. I am now re-thinking the non ac car. The tripple black doesn't help much either.
Jim, Sorry we will miss each other again..............oh well, November isn't too far away..
Jay, I hope you know where and how to get to the Hotel. It is one of those, I can see it but how do I get there type of things. Are you checking in first then heading over to Pats? If so call me and Beth and I will hang out here and wait for Ya'll. We can follow you over there.
More to come gotta get cleaned up, Dinner with Pat and his wife. We met her on the highway but a more formal intro is in order.

Just trying to present the truth here, and its not my opinion. Personally I kinda miss Pat here but I am not going to lie about what happened trying to color how and why he got banned to someone who was not there when it happened. He kept pushing the limits and got banned, and it was a group effort, not just by one Moderator.
Very true................because alot of things Pat said could be taken in more than one manner. The powers to be that were involved decided to take some of the questions and statements, in the wrong manner.
Just like with most debates there is a wrong side and a right side, it all depends on your point of view.
I never once saw where Pat made a poorly writen comment directed towards one single person, in a manner that wasn't debatable. JMO
Say what you will, Pat made this place very interesting, and shows who has the thick skin and who can't take any negative comments. There is the agreement to disagree, and it doesn't always get followed. I don't follow all of Pats ideas, so what. That doesn't mean he isn't my friend. Hell my wife and I don't agree on alot of things and she is still my best friend.
I will post the meeting time for tomorrow, when I get back from dinner.

First off, if you look I never called you a liar, so lets try to get at least one of your posts where everything is correct. Your batting average is not real high on this thread in this area. I said that the truth was not told and you have now twisted it into what you wanted it to say.

What would have been better to post is the truth the first time around, especially on an open forum where most everyone knows what happened and knows that what you posted is far from what happened.

Size of my family jewels has nothing to do with it. Notice that you are not disputing anything that I have said. You can call it "circling the wagons" or whatever fancy term you have for it, but in the end was warned by several Moderators, then by the owner and he still persisted so he was banned. End of story. You got proof otherwise please post it.

Hey Bus-driver,
Lets cut to the chase, Pat bent some rules, and twisted some panties, just like you are doing. You didn't come right out and call Procon a liar, but you insunuated. That was the way I took it as well as Procon.
The truth of what was said to cause the banning was removed from our view and won't be replaced. I, as well as others asked for the offence to be posted, so we can all see, it wasn't.
You are trolling in MY thread about a fun weekend with someone whom some people like. Thankyou very much for showing your true colors...............I for one find it refreshing. You-Da-Man.

Rick,

Now we know YOUR true colors as well my man! A poster to this thread asked what happened to Pat and Procon posted a response that was not true. Instead of letting the first poster believe a LIE, I posted the truth.

Why pray tell are you not saying a thing about Procon posting something that was clearly not true on "your" thread? Sure shows a lot about you and what you would rather have, the truth or backing up a fellow confederate poster. Personally most people would rather have the truth but guess you cannot handle it and now have your panties in a wad.

You all have fun with Pat out there and remember that he is not on PPOT right now because he disobeyed the rules time after time, being warned time after time and was finally banned, and nothing else. Sorry to end the little circle jerk you and Procon are having, but in the long run telling the TRUTH is a lot better than trying to "spin" something into what you wanted to happen. We all know that this is part of Pat's attempt to get some support to get back on Pelican and hope everyone sees this for what it is.

Wow, even a thread about FastPat dissolves into name-calling pretty quickly. His threads always seemed to bring out the worst in people, but maybe it was just me...

All right, then. Just got back from FastPat's. Was a great time!

First we had a little Chardonnay.

Then pat schooled us on the use of the Ctrl-C function.

Then we played darts on his new dartboard:

Then a little fantasy "dress up," was no key party, but that was fun!"

Good time was had by all.

Now all we need is Eli and Noah to take a dump in this thread and it will be complete.

Sorry I am missing some fun there guys. We bought our son tickets to see Cirque du Soleil a few months ago as a reward for all the effort he has been putting in at school and his great grades.

As luck would have it Pat scheduled this little BBQ and backroad drive the same weekend. Oh, well, that has been my luck lately.

Be safe and have fun, I'll be up there next weekend and most of the month of July.

Banning Fat Pat was the single greatest achievement of this board. The civility level of the board increased 100% since he left. Good riddance.

Well the circle jerk never got off the ground for lack of a piviot. Have you ever thought about growing a beard?

Had a great time, our little 30 mile funrun turned into a 100 mile trip, crossing the eastern divide twice. Stoped and toured one of the local wineries, and had a small break.
Eat some killer dinner, including steaks thick enough to block a truck tire with.

My wife and I had a great time at Pat's yesterday and want to thank him and his wife for hosting, and for providing an excellent dinner!

I enjoyed meeting up with fellow Pelicans, as always!

I have hesitated to say anything about the little tiff between Pat and Joe because I never saw the threads that are the subject of discussion. But I will make a couple of brief comments:

First, there were times that I found Pat's comments, political views, rants, and ramblings to be contrary to my own views, and sometimes just plain annoying. I learned where the "back" button is that allowed me to back out of threads I disliked.

Second, in "real life" I found pat to be a genuinely good person that is easy to get along with.

Rick, on the other hand..... well, that's a different story.
(just kidding, Rick)
