Joe,
Missed this somehow.... I'm having a hard time talking myself into this for several reasons. The flying season here is short, about 4-5 months, and during that period there are a lot of concerns to deal with. Winds, rapidly changing weather, hail, 12,000 foot mountains all around. You know... the typical high-elevation dangers. I'm fairly sharp when it comes to high-stress activities, but when there are too many uncontrollable factors involved, I like to keep my distance. Plus, storing the plane while I'm away for 9 months out of the year sounds like a losing proposition. I'm gonna do it... now is just not the right time

sounds like a sound plan for the time being, richard, considering all the variables. plus there's an old aviation axiom that goes, 'if you wanna make a million in aviation, start with two..'
it's best done when you can accept/afford to lose money..almost always gotta be pure love.
