I've been thinking this over, especially the part about no chains, fences or collars. That beats my current situation and I need more peace in my life so I'm wondering.......could I take Earl's place? I'd be pretty good. I almost never bark. I'm not as cute as Earl and I probably wouldn't be as obedient but I have opposable thumbs. Think it over, Hawk.

Thanks, guys, you make this so much easier. My son, twelve, has read every post as well. Frankly, they grew up together. One can only imagine the summers they spent as one, fishing, hunting, swimming in the Potomac and loafing.

When Earl was young, Jack would hang on to his neck and Earl would swim with Jack on his back. You had to see it. It is like Lubby said...we'll remember.
