you seem to be very fond of that subject, i sure as hell ain't into that

svandamme 10-05-2007 03:04 PM

Tabbydoll? Does this mean you're starting to figure it out? One nice thing about Orygun...and image. Don't matter for doo-doo. "Image" seeking people are kind of a sad joke here. Outside of Portland, Salem, and Eugene anyway.Yesterday, my bride & I played pool all afternoon on a nice 9' Brunswick. On our way home, we stopped off at a "fancy" eatin' place. I'll confess, I'm known there...like I'm known in the pool hall we were at, with Harleys parked out front. Cindy & I both dressed in jeans, tennie runners & sweatshirts. We were more than welcome in this pool hall, and later, the fancy "eatin'" place....I enjoyed a NY steak done to perfection, Cindy had that tropical fish...she said it was good. Ma-hee Ma-he, something like that?

And to think...Tabbydoll is beginning to figure out that impressing others isn't all there is to life.

All that said? I've seen the pic motion posted of his lady friend. Man, does she EVER have a grade A pooper! She is definitely what we called a "T.A.F.er" back in my day...Tits, Ass, and Face. :D

Hey, whatever floats a boat.

Not that I'd swap girls with motion...not even for one night. Nor would he want to swap with me.

Funny, those who are "show" to the hilt even on a trip to the grocery store are usually the ones who have the least to their name.

Mind you, I'm not referring to anyone who isn't kept but anyone who is that conscious of their image is usually trying to compensate for something.

Dad used to say, "the only things in life you should have to do, is to be brown and die ..." (I'm brown...) in other words, being sucessful means you are independent of anyone else and their judgements. You answer to no one.

By this definition, I am indeed a wealthy man. My goal in life was to have "screw you" money. This means "critical mass"...work only if you want to, with the ability to say "screw you" to anyone as far as money goes.

I don't like working...

In Tabby's defense, it takes a while to figure this out. Perhaps he just had an epiphany???? It is indeed possible to be happy in life...living in a trailer park, with velvet painting of Elvis on your wall. IF that is what you want in life...

Whatever floats a boat.

A Dedicated Follower of Fashion

People who have followed my travails on this Board should have realized by now that I'm not especially concerned with image. I'm not a Jackie O.

My standard dress is a pair of shorts, teeshirt with sandals. I've also taken up wearing a silly little Porky Pie Hat with sunglasses, which people undoubtly take me for a fool for wearing. Only the Brothers and one HOT Sister gave me a second glance.

Now I have to say that I sorely love my Spoons...but the things that I covet are things of substance and merit. Porsches, Allan Adler HANDMADE Sterling, Art and more spoons. Now is it my fault that some of these things have caught on and have followings which drives prices. Its nice that they do... I won't deny.

So in that sense PWD has missed that aspect of the REAL ME....

BTW: Most of my Teeshirts have holes in them due to Cigar ashes burning a hole in them...

Mother keeps telling me I am one sorry fk, and that I am a big disapointment to her. Ohhh Well!

Motion is a real nice guy and I am glad to see someone so nice does well in life.

I am a Southern California native, but a recent OC resident. I moved here for a good life that included good schools, low crime, good jobs, clean streets, etc.. Oh yeah, great weather and close to a great beach. Its not perfect, as no place is, but it is pretty nice.

You pick your friends, so no matter where you live, you gravitate to like minded individuals. So if you think all your friends are jerks -- Maybe you are jerk as well! Birds of a feather...

What is this thread all about then? Defining a good life? Defining yourself in the eyes of your environment?

I have one pair of shoes. They work well for wrenching, mowing the lawn, eating out and at parties. Same goes for jeans and t-shirt. Only thing that would have me buy any other clothes would be an invitation to the Nobel dinner at the King´s joint.

Wickd89 10-06-2007 07:33 AM

Worthless thread.

Personal attacks on on the net are so rude; especially dedicating a post entirely to pointing at one individual who ever it is.

We use to have a word for people like this: "Punks".... Not a compliment if you are to mistake this for a complement

not sure where that leaves me, I don't have any friends ;)

I met Motion a couple of times on porche fun runs, seemed pretty down to earth and normal to me.

Markus, you should really have more than one pair of shoes(no matter how comfortable). If you wear the same ones every day, they never completely dry out and you increase the likelihood of many adverse effects. You should wear support hose to work too.

Tabs, no offense meant, but every one I have ever known who burns holes in their clothes with whatever tobacco product they happen to be burning was a bit of a slob...

where are the damn pics of the girl?

One Question.

When you tell your children that your "rubbed the wrong way" does it mean that you don't love them, that you think they are rotten kids?

So what makes any of U think I don't like Motion or am attacking him?????

Believe me if I don't like U, you won't know which end is up when I'm done with you.
