You gotta use plastic bait for that. The kind with a magnetic stripe on them ;).

BRPORSCHE 11-18-2009 08:48 AM

I use that bait combined with the metal type with a gold crest on the hood. ;)

Taken today, Thanksgiving Day 2009, we have a lot to be thankful for; two respectable bass and one monster crappie.

I haven't been fishing in many years, but I did land a "fish" recently.
Met her on Plenty of Fish and we hit it off great.:D

Dang, those are all monsters in my book!!

Great part is that this our front yard! My son catches these on a regular basis, the lake we own is a true trophy body of water and we keep it that way.

Lake Ontario this past weekend was on fire, limited out Friday and Monday.

hammerhead

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1278494541.jpg

OK, so we did not land it as we would probably have killed it. Beautiful hammerhead in Bahamas about 9-10 feet. Hooked it while anchored up at night, just messing around after cleaning some fish. After it proceeded to strip most of the line off the reel we jumped in a 17 foot RIB and let it drag us around for about 45 minutes. As you can see we got him up to the boat, he was about done fighting and we cut the line.

I love catching sharks - although have not caught anything quite that big...

There is always excitement getting them close. That's a big hammerhead!

Jeremy, are the kids not asking to release them again, seems odd not to throw back fish you're not eating anyhow. Just curious.
