In fact my first date with me driving was on that POS.. still remember the tranny rod popped out of place and had to fix it, my hands were so greasy that I had to keep the hands off my date..

Did a little searching; no luck... is it a real A6M? Restored or built from scratch?

My uncle, in WWII in the Pacific described the Zero ... +take a Bonanza and slap a 1,000 hp radial on it. Climbs like a banshee, manuverable, no protection for pilot or tanks. Flew circles around the Wildcat."

A shame, but looks repairable.

Finally finished restoring this contraption. Had to make new wooden levers and handles as the original ones were rotten.

Everything is repairable with enough money. Seriously, since this one was built up from scratch, the team likely has all necessary prints and materials to fix it.

Edit: Texas Flying Legends has already posted a statement that both airplanes will be back up within the year.

Taken as I was walking around the infield carnage that is the 12-Hours of Sebring this year! I sure miss my bus.
