^^^ Schwinn Sting Rays are probably the coolest bikes ever built. EVERY kid wanted one at the time. The old guys in that picture above really hit the nail on the head.

Paul, I believe those are the Krate/Picker/Peeler models because they have the shifter and hand brakes. My Stingray had none of those. I just had those old pedal brakes.

I had a Stingray Fastback. Had everything but the springer forks. May have had it 6 months before it was stolen. Chicago sucks.

Krates are all based off the Sting-Ray, and the Scrambles were also based on the Sting-Ray.

Iv been doing some hotwheels cutomizing to match my cars. Its fun because it only takes a few hours. Its surprising how much you have to change to get the right look

When I was 10 or 11 I got a stingray just like this one for Christmas.
I loved that bike.
It got stolen when I moved to California, in the first week of school.
