I fill up every Friday, before I head back to Charleston. The limit was $75 and I always had a pump in another five to $10.

Now the limit is $100

And then my dad got a TV that had this after my mom's operation...and the world changed...Which also explains why older people call it a clicker and not a remote. For you young people, when you got to the end of the tv channels (all 14 channels: Off,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,U), the TV would turn off at channel 1. Although this tv was upstairs and the tv in the den would be another 5 years before getting a clicker... Remember when channel 3 was the VCR channel? Or pong?

So it's okay to talk about TVs in the transportation thread? Okay, I guess TVs transport us to other realities.

I don't remember what we had when I was a kid, but it was a black and white. Then the old man sprung for a color set when the prices became a little more reasonable. That's when I found out the second part of The Wizard of Oz was in color.

After my first wife and I got married (late 70s), her parents gave us their one ton floor console color set. Lousy picture and reception. I forget how we got rid of it or who helped move it out to the street. I don't really remember what we did with it.

Then we bought our first nice set... one zakly like this 19" Hitachi I just found in a search. Great picture and we got cable. Yeehaa.
