^^^ I read an article on that truck that broke. The guy is disputing RAM's warranty denial. But based on the model of truck and specs in the article it sure looks like he had that truck way overloaded!

How is there a truck camper that severely overloads a dually? I mean if such a truck can’t handle that camper then what exactly is it for?

Maybe he was towing with a hitch extension and the camper on?
That is a massive camper but it does appear that the truck is equipped with the proper tie downs.

According to this article, he overloaded the truck.

It's just a giant lever. Hanging weight that far back of the axle increases it exponentially. Throw in a couple of fatties and a few coolers and watch it fold.

or hang a motorcycle off the aft end, fill the tanks with water and find a big bump in the road.

A lot of people think that the 4WD extended cab heavy duty deluxe monster diesel engine dually model of a truck has the greatest payload and towing capacity when in reality it's usually the stripped down regular cab 2wd versions. The guy made some bad assumptions and no way he's going to get reimbursed on that one.

Yeah, I'm guessing the water, sewer and propane tanks are all located in the low overhanging rear section.
