Yea, I thought it was an interesting nod to the 356 Speedster with that windshield

Then I saw the roof and my mind had a hard time processing what I saw - to put it politely.

The car itself is pushing limits with the extreme flairs and wheels.
Do like the windshield and frame.
Then with the roof on it brings to mind the flying guppy.

That was Union Pacific 3985 in 1992 when it was in Texas for the Republican National Convention in Houston. The location for the photo was chosen for the rural flavor. Dirt road, just a cross buck with no gate or lights and an old farm with a windmill. The dog appeared out of nowhere at the last moment.

Another shot taken the same day.
