A couple of test tickles might be advised I'd think (crap, why am I even thinking about this?!).

You are correct.

The Cayenne is heavier than a corvette, but when comparing apples to apples the answer is a resounding NO.

One of the biggest opportunities I've missed was not buying a '71 Dodge Challeger 440 for $1500 back in 1987. ( it had a broken exhaust manifold )

My dad asked me: "Why do you want that car, so you can out-run the police"?

Those cars are worth a fortune right now.

I bought a Baja Bug instead which led me to where I am today, which is still OK.

Tweak the numbers? LOL

I posted the base model of each vehicle, the most common and numerous versions sold and as such the most representative.

You take as many different versions of each vehicle as you can find (including the rare versions that most people will never see) and present that average? Sounds like someone else is "tweaking"
