Jeremy, this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. I give my Capresso a hug every morning! The counter says I've brewed more than 3000 coffees, lattes and espressos. The machine has never been serviced and it's never failed. I figure I've put more than 100 pounds of beans through my machine. We are in love.

To think under your wifes very nose, Moses is having an affair. Do U think your wife suspects Moses?

Mark, do you use the milk thingy? And is the cleaning too hard?

I'm just a little apprehensive because a HUGE coffee day for me would be 10 cups of coffee.

I need a new machine but I don't think I'm going to drop $5K. And I think a Salvatore is gonna run at least $3K (I'm guessing). If I need to find a good machine for $1500 or so (monkey style or manual).

Its $1800 for the Salvatore Manual. Sometimes on the Bay you can find em for a little more than a G.

.

I've never used mine. I drink black espresso or cafe americano. If I need to froth milk for Julie (she likes cappuccino) then I froth the milk with the wand right in the cup. If I'm making a pair of cappuccinos I'll froth the milk in a stainless steel frothing pitcher. I think the add-on milk frother thingy would be great f you need to make a dozen cappuccinos or lattes all at once. That might come in handy being a rock star. I don't know how many ladies you are typically making coffee for in the morning.

Geeze Moses...that machine's price would buy a damned fine pool cue, AND more than a few Pabst Blue Ribbons...not many packs of Camels, tho...;)

It's a threesome. A beautiful thing, I might add.

Has anyone in California ever seen one of these Super-Automatic machines?

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1208825764.jpg

The company that markets them is based in LA. Anyone heard of Espresso Etc?

9dreizig 04-21-2008 05:57 PM

Hey Everybody, I"m giving away free tickets to listen to my stereo ( I have no musical talent) for anyone who makes me an espresso with a coffee maker that costs more than 4 new wheels, tires and an alignment!!!

p911dad 04-21-2008 06:02 PM

Clearly a group of Obama voters..

I think, maybe, the former Governor of N.Y. state may have said that...:D

Yeah but a 3 some with a machine is a purely CA, Bay area thing....that is until some bright guy in NY discovers it and makes it into their very own perversion.

Well Todd: if you're lamenting the cost of the machine, I understand.

My buddy gave me an insane deal on the machine because he knows I love coffee, so I'm taking it at that value. Not once have I thought about what the "rational me" would do with $5k, because it's a disservice to my friend's good will.

Okay, maybe I thought about it for a minute.:)

slodave 04-21-2008 06:28 PM

Cool Jeremy, looks nice!

9dreizig 04-21-2008 06:29 PM

Actually a couple of my buddies have machines in that class and they love them.. I personally am trying to rent a room in Starbucks!! LOL Congrates , that thing looks sweet

Gogar 04-21-2008 06:30 PM

Hotter chicks in the Starbucks for sure, my friend. Ask young Tom BRPORSCHE, apparently.
