All:

Okay, now three people are interested. Joe has dibs. If he passes, I'll forward the contact details to those who asked in the order they asked.

Cheers,

Paul.

That appears to have a lot of potential. Worth checking out thoroughly.

Good luck

You have got me thinking of getting another one:D

I suspect that this will go for near $10K. This seller usually has fairly high reserves. Nice cars though.

what kinda cake would the car Paul posted up go for?

is that a $5k car? $10k?

His feedback is good. Do you know anything about him?

Again, love your car:)

Judging by the pictures, I'd say that eBay is now the home of the old Bimmer Brothers dealership - they specialize in quality older BMWs, especially 2002s and CSs, kinda like European Collectibles focuses on 356s. I've never heard anything bad about them, and they've been around for years.

I've decided to pass on the car.

I have one friend up in Oregon that I trust to do a PPI but he's 200+ miles away. The cost of that plus shipping puts this car in budget breaking territory for me. Based upon what I've seen, it looks like a really great car, I just wish I had some more $$ for one right now.

Thanks Paul for your help with this. I appreciate it.

Joe:

You're welcome. Sorry it didn't work out.

Seahawk:

You're up.

Paul.

Seahawk 05-29-2008 04:19 AM

You have a PM'ski.

Yep, been watching them. I don't have anyone to check Roundel for me though. :(

Sometimes the best deals come from friends just keeping their eyes open.

Thanks!

I've been checking the Roundel. Mostly high $$ stuff. The prices of these cars has climbed a bit since I sold my last one - naturally. Five k used to get you something pretty great. Now, just so-so. If you're willing to spend $10kish, guy going by RIMSPOKE on the faq is selling a really sorted Ti clone. It's been a true enthusiast car for years.
