Fair Food
I went to the North County Fair in Del Mar and tried some interesting items;
1) Fried jalapeņo macaroni and cheese on a stick; 2) Fried s'mores; 3) Fried avocado; 4) Fried Oreos; and 5) Fried Reeses sticks. The avocados and Reeses were the best, IMO. A member of our group had a Krispy-Kreme fried chicken sandwich that looked good. There was no "pizza in cup" or "soup on a stick" though. ![]() I eat a very healthy diet, but it was anything goes yesterday. Best, |

Since I have never eaten those items I do not feel qualified to give an opinion.

Some of it sounds silly. But I did have a chef cook a personalized Japanese/Sushi dinner for my wife and myself once. Most of his stuff was very traditional, but one thing that he made was tempura avocado. It was very, VERY tasty.
Also, I used to really like the Bennigans, Monte Cristo sandwich which is a deep fried turkey, ham and cheese sandwich. Stuff Jalapenos are very tasty, so I can imagine that the jalapeno macaroni and cheese might be tasty. I don't get deep frying deserts. Well, crud, wait, tempura fried banana with vanilla ice cream is tasty.

if I eat at the fair I'm afraid to fart 30 minutes later. At the very least, I get spicy a$$. Especially after an onion burger.
