I think you guys are fixated on the over-use of these terms. Too much "Office Space." Sure, stringing several buzzwords together in a sentence is funny. And......some managers use buzzwords in lieu of thinking or understanding the matter. But.....sometimes a word or phrase can encapsulate and communicate a complex notion fairly elegantly.
For example, I assume some of you have used the phrase "That's bull****!" If so, are we making fun of you?

The people who are generally made fun of are the folks who say something like: "Your proposal doesn't cohesively merge with our design paradigm." INSTEAD of saying: "That's Bull****!"

My boss did a Power Point for his bosses about alll the problems that needed fixed. Title was "Opportunities for Solutions".
Here are a few I see almost every day in company emails, which I consider to be spam: synergy position ourselves best practices full suite of products solutions reach out key target audience I make it a point to never ever use any of these terms and to especially use something else in their place when dealing with co-workers who would normally use these words.

A software package I used to support had a generic error message of "An unexpected error has occurred" ( an aside, when does an expected error ever occur?) A fellow programmer changed this at one clients site to read, "An opportunity for enhancement has occurred" I had no idea what the hell the client was talking about the first time they called up with that message....
