McCain has run an unconventional campaign. It used to be you had to be way out there on the right (or left if you're a dem) to get the nomination, because only the hard-core-base types voted in the primaries.

McCain actually started out middle-right to get the nomination and is now veering to the right to shore up the base.

Obama started out way left to get the nomination and is tracking to the middle for the general.

Now matter how you look at it, both candidates are navigating to the right!

Yes, a hockey mom comparing herself to a lipstick-wearing dog with a perceived vicious killer instinct, conjured up all sorts of interesting images. I'm certain cartoon studios in Hollywood are working on Pitbull Palin images right now.

REAL Leadership is shown by how many times you vote present. As if Reagan picked Bush and so on... I highly doubt BHO picked Biden either.
