more visa versa, the duck defense penetrated the trojans
seems to me last time the Ducks beat a number one team, it was USC. A certain young man who had been in trouble with the law frequently and escaped to SC from Hunter's Point to make something of his life with football and acting (murderer, kidnapper later) was their tailback at the time Don't care for the Trojans Only guy I ever met who worked for NASA was a total booze jockey. Well, my Uncle Bob, did the radios for Apollo. Okay, only guy I knew who worked for NASA that was not my uncle was a drunk

Because of Saban, Bama has become the most heated rivalry. I think when he walks onto the field in BR for the upcoming game, the earth will shake.

If both are still undefeated, that should be the game of the year.

I would add "go K-State", but I'm torn. Part of me is hoping we lose every game from now on, so Ron Prince is a goner. I'm sure Texas Tech will be more than happy to oblige this weekend.

Well, it took the better part of the first half, but USC answered the challenge and put a pretty big beat down on the Ducks. Seeing the game in person, I have to say USC looked progressively stronger on both offense and defense.
ANY and ALL of the favorite teams could stumble this year, so I would keep that in mind before piling on USC and the PAC 10. Mike |

Can't wait for the "civil war" here...Ducks vs. Beavers. You see, I have 2 favorite college teams. The OSU Beavers and whoever is playing the Ducks.

i see you have been allowed back in the kitchen, paul
sad to see an oregonian - even an [early] transplant - who would favor the fuskies over the ducks... |

Another great week of football! I never guessed Auburn would go down, despite their non-existent offense. For next week:
No. 5 Texas at No. 1 Oklahoma No. 17 Oklahoma State at No. 3 Missouri No. 4 LSU at No. 11 Florida This is the week that the Big 12 really starts feasting on itself, though I predict that both Missouri and Oklahoma will win. On a sad note, I need help reserving a domain name. How about "fireRonPrincenow.com". As a KSU fan, I now feel the pain of Nebraska fans, because I know how they felt when Bill Callahan was destroying their team. Watching Ron Prince dismantle the program that Bill Snyder worked so hard to build into a national contender just makes me sick. The beating at home by TTU was the worst in 12 years. The KSU defense has given up over 500 yards in 8 straight games. The offense looks incapable of getting a single yard on the ground, and the offensive line has our pocket passer running for his life. Sad, sad days in Manhattan.

You mean after beating up on an unranked Arizona State? I'm soooooo impressed.
![]() But don't worry, every voter west of the Rockies will put USC #1, because it's their "destiny". How they are currently in the top 10 defies description. Florida and Oklahoma should still be in front of them, because they were beaten by top-10 teams. Oregon State is very much NOT a top-10 team. Not to mention USC's schedule defines the term cakewalk. How many more top-10 teams do they have to beat to win out the rest of the year? Oh that's right, they don't play another ranked opponent. Yup, I'm impressed.......

Matt, you had a pretty awful week on your picks. What did you have, 1 winner in a UNC team?
#1 will most likely go to Texas since Bama (who hasn't been winning big) had the week off, Penn St. #3, then start guessing. Oklahoma will be in front of USC, not so sure about Florida.

Hook'em Horns! I doubt they get the #1 spot though, they never get credit in the polls.
